Moriah Day

Moriah Day joined the NSSF team in 2024 as Director of Government Relations – State Affairs covering the Midwest region. He came to NSSF with multiple years of experience fighting to defend Second Amendment freedoms. He has advised many successful candidates and has overseen grassroots efforts for both candidate and issue campaigns at a statewide level. He most recently served as the Executive Director of the Kansas State Rifle Association where he led the organization to receive the Outstanding State Association award from the National Rifle Association. Prior to that role, he served on the KSRA’s board and chaired its political action committee for around a decade while holding prominent positions in legislative leadership offices, a state executive branch agency, and across multiple campaigns. Moriah is also a certified firearm instructor and lives in Kansas with his wife, daughter, and their German Shorthaired Pointer.
