Joel Bryce

Joel is a native of west-central Wisconsin and has worked for Delta Waterfowl in Bismarck, ND, since March of 2001. Joel’s interest and family history in hunting and the outdoors led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in wildlife management from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and a Master of Science in wildlife biology from the University of North Dakota. Before joining Delta, he worked for the Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center in Jamestown, North Dakota, from 2000 - 2001. Before Jamestown, Joel conducted private wildlife research from 1996 - 1998 in Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, and Nebraska.

As Chief Conservation Officer, Joel is responsible for oversight of all aspects of duck production (i.e., Predator Management, Hen Houses, and Adopt A Pothole), research, R3 (hunter recruitment, retention, and reactivation) programming (i.e., First Hunt, University Hunting Program, etc.), marketing, and communications.

Joel is married with two children. In his free time, Joel is an avid backcountry hunter and also enjoys waterfowl and upland bird hunting, fishing, camping, and horseback riding and training.
