Jim Inglis

Jim Inglis is the Director of Governmental Affairs for Pheasants Forever (PF) and Quail Forever (QF). He has spent his career in various capacities including academic/research, field work, and policy. He began with PF as Ohio’s Regional Biologist in 2001, was involved in launching Quail Forever in the Southeast in 2005, he then supervised the organizations Farm Bill biologist program 5 years before joining the Government Affairs team in 2012. Originally from the Finger Lakes Region of NY, Jim grew up on a dairy farm, where he developed his interest in hunting, conservation, forestry, and agriculture. He obtained his M.S. Degree in Wildlife Management from Mississippi State University and B.S. Degree in Forestry/Wildlife from the College of Forestry at Syracuse University. Jim resides in Northwest Ohio with his wife, two sons, 12yr old German short-haired pointer and 18mo old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. When not working you will find him outdoors with his family, training bird dogs, volunteering with his local PF chapter on habitat projects, or mentoring the next generation of hunters and conservationists.
