Brent Miller
Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation

Brent Miller first arrived at CSF in the fall of 2010 and spent a decade managing CSF’s state-level work in the northeast region – supporting regional sportsmen’s caucuses and members; significantly expanding pro-sportsmen infrastructure; directly engaging in the policy process in support of hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping; and supervising and mentoring others in the same. During this time Brent also served as the organization’s lead for firearm, knife, and deer management issues at both the state and federal levels, while providing a wide range of administrative support services for the States Program Team.
In his current role as Senior Director, States Program Team, Brent serves as the head of CSF’s state-level engagement nationwide and leads the States Program Team in support of the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses, the Governors Sportsmen’s Caucus, and their members. Additionally, Brent manages CSF’s Brad Rowse Internship Program, which hosts policy interns throughout the year, and coordinates their support of CSF’s state and federal policy staff.
Brent graduated with honors from Bard College with a Master of Science degree in Environmental Policy, where he focused his graduate studies on sportsmen's issues in the northeast. Brent has received a Professional Development Certificate from The Wildlife Society, has twice been appointed to the National Wildlife Services Advisory Committee, and served as a Committee Member on the Maryland Sportsmen's Marketing Initiative. Brent was awarded the Suppressor Advocate of the Year by the American Suppressor Association and received an Official Citation from the Massachusetts Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus for his dedication to sportsmen’s issues.
