Attendees will sign in and collect their goody bags and conference materials. Various groups will host booths in the registration area for attendees to visit.

Knife Rights' Ethan Becker Knife Skills Experience: Knife Rights will be hosting a Knife Skills Experience with Ethan Becker, co-author of the new edition of the Joy of Cooking cookbook. Ethan will teach you safe and effective knife handling skills you can use every day in your kitchen or in the field. Chef’s knives will be provided for this hands-on training and 10 participants will win one of the Chef's Knives they used during the experience. Bring your own Joy of Cooking cookbook to NASC (family copy or brand new) and Ethan Becker will autograph it just for you! They will be hosting a class every 45mins.

The NASC Executive Council will meet to discuss the conference ahead and cover other business.

Buses will depart the main lobby of the Kimpton Armory to travel to the evening reception at Simms Fishing headquarters.

This year's Welcome Reception will be hosted at the Simms Fishing headquarters. Opening remarks will be provided by CSF President Jeff Crane, NASC Executive Council President Rep. Brian White and Summit Host (Need Speaker from Host Committee). Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served as attendees are given a tour of Simms' wader manufacturing site. Shuttles to and from the Kimpton Armory Hotel to the Simms Fishing headquarters will be running from 5:45 until 8:15 p.m.

The last buses will depart Simms Fishing headquarters and return to the Kimpton Armory.

The evening is not over yet, as activities will continue with a cigar reception hosted by Reynolds American. A variety of cigars, hors d'oeuvres, and liquid refreshments will be provided, signifying the kickoff of this year's NASC Summit. Attendees are encouraged to join their colleagues for a toast to an eventful week ahead and discuss the topics they're looking forward to learning about in the coming days.
